Today we give some thoughts on what could possibly be some of our most influential records. This kind of thing is almost impossible, and with limited slots, we left a ton of great rock and metal albums out. However, we name some all time classics that were very impactful in our lives, as well as countless other musicians in the Rock & Metal realm. Paul just got back from atrip to New Orleans. We talk about our love for the mighty Crescent City, seeing the elusive band TOOL in concert, and other acts he caught at Voodoo Festival. Eddie Harsch from The Black Crowes passed away suddenly this past weekend. RIP Eddie. You played on some of the most EPIC rock albums of the 90’s.
On this episode, Paul and Beau ramble on a sunny day in Akron Ohio, on the 15th anniversary of 9/11. The Savages take on many subjects, including the current shit show that is the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton, overly emotional people on Facebook, where they were on 9/11, seeing the Rock Band "Tool" two days after 9/11/01, and many, many other things. They recently got a chance to see the American Rock N Roll Band "Rival Sons" together at The Grog Shop in Cleveland. Rival Sons lived up to all expectations, and seem to be carrying the torch for traditional Rock Music in America currently. This band is next level, so catch them with Black Sabbath on tour now. Beau might have said the word "objective" a little too much. But thats probably okay. Enjoy.
