EP#44. We Chat About The Seattle Music Scene of The Early Nineties

Today we held court on the early nineties music scene in Seattle Washington, and the role Guns N Roses played in the transition from Hair Metal to the Grunge era. We also talk a bit about our experience with record labels in the late nineties and the sinister elements of the music business back in the day when the major label record labels were king. We also play the new song "Bar Fly" from the newly unearthed album from the nineties Grunge band Gruntruck, who had their own problems with the recording industry back in the day. Their kick ass new album comes out through Found Recordings on October 13th 2017. You can pre-order the album here: http://bit.ly/2xMxVF2

EP#38. Classic Rock Magazine's Top Albums Of 2017 So Far

We go over Classic Rock Magazine's Top 50 Albums of 2017 so far. And there are some good ones on this list, such as Mastodon, All Them Witches, The Magpie Salute, and more. We also chat about millionaire rock stars who are overly political, and the irony between some of the anti-capitalist rhetoric of some of these folks, and how they are benefiting the most from the system they appear to hate. We also feature a song from our local rock buddies in Contra. They just released their new album "Deny Everything" through Shifty Records. It is available now on iTunes.

EP#35. Christian Lembach From The Rock Band WHORES.

Christian Lembach is the Singer/Guitarist for the Atlanta rock band WHORES. The band is currently on a cross country U.S. tour in support of their latest album "Gold". They also have a new song on YouTube called "Flag Day". Catch them on tour across America right now.

EP#31. Not Offended By Dave Chappelle

We just got done with two weekends of playing rock shows in Northeast Ohio. Burn Blue Sky played their first St. Patty's Day show ever and it was a blast. Red Water Tragedy also played in Akron, and it was killer as usual. We also talk about the latest comedy specials released by Dave Chappelle last week on Netflix, and the ridiculous controversy surrounding his stand up comedy. Today we play the song "Netflix And Kill" by the bad ass band "Sweaty Mammoth", which is available on their band camp page now.
