Today we give some thoughts on what could possibly be some of our most influential records. Freddy DeMarco is the owner of DeMarco's School Of Music in Hudson Ohio. He is also the lead guitarist in the kick ass AC/DC tribute act "Dirty Deeds". Joe Magistro is the long time Drummer for Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes. He has played on all of Rich's solo studio albums, and resides in Woodstock New York, where he has done many studio sessions at the amazing Applehead Recording Studios. He is currently on a cross country tour with Rich Robinson, to support the newly released album "Flux", which is available now on Eagle Rock Entertainment. Joe recently sat down for a short interview during a tour stop in Columbus Ohio to talk about his career, and working with Rich extensively in the studio and on the road.
On this episode, Paul and Beau ramble on a sunny day in Akron Ohio, on the 15th anniversary of 9/11. The Savages take on many subjects, including the current shit show that is the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton, overly emotional people on Facebook, where they were on 9/11, seeing the Rock Band "Tool" two days after 9/11/01, and many, many other things. They recently got a chance to see the American Rock N Roll Band "Rival Sons" together at The Grog Shop in Cleveland. Rival Sons lived up to all expectations, and seem to be carrying the torch for traditional Rock Music in America currently. This band is next level, so catch them with Black Sabbath on tour now. Beau might have said the word "objective" a little too much. But thats probably okay. Enjoy.
